PACKAGING DESIGN
ZINGERMAN'S ZZANG BAR
The premise of the project was to redesign the packaging for Zingerman's Zzang bar to create a more sophisticated design tailored to present as a gift. The Zzang bar will change from a bar into bites (an individual bar will be about four bites) so the packaging was supposed to be created for 12, 16, or 24 bites.

PROCESS
The packaging needed to represent and express the quality of the product and brand. I wanted the packaging to have a feel of freshness, individuality, and history. The whole idea for the design on the box came from me wanting to show the full, fresh ingredients that Zingerman's uses and thenwhen I decided to make the design by hand instead of on Illustrator, I realized I was referencing all of Zingerman's packaging and branding (they typically have illustrations on packaging, newsletter, even in their buildings). By the box having this drawn element, it makes it unique - an individual amongst the rest.
