About Me

This is me. The beautiful woman next to me is my sister, if you couldn't tell. (We're always told we look like twins. We're not by the way.)
Art has been a part of me for a long time. In fifth grade, both my best friends (that I had known since the 2nd grade) left my school. I was so hurt knowing I wouldn't see them next year. The next year came and I struggled. It was hard for me to open up to anyone new. I didn't know it then, but I'm an introvert. It took a little while to gain new friends. So, for the first time, I leaned into art.
I found solace and relief in art. It was a visual way to show my own little world and I could create it any way I wanted. I continued creating art throughout middle and high school.
During my junior year, my art teacher suggested I join an advertising program. Until that program, I didn’t realize that research (something I also love) and art could go together. I decided then and there I was going to art school to become a graphic designer.
So, I graduated from the Stamps School of Art & Design at the University of Michigan. GO BLUE!!! I have been working as a freelance designer since 2015.
In addition to art, I love love love reading, writing, and watching television. I am always down to read a new book or binge a new show. I take suggestions by the way if you have any.
